This is a nice Vinaigrette made with ‘real‚Äô ingredients. The store bought version just can‚Äôt compare. Great on traditional salads or even a Caprese Salad.
3/4 teaspoon Mustard (optional)
3/4 each Shallots, minced
1 1/4 cups Olive or canola oil
3/4 teaspoon Sugar (optional)
3/8 teaspoon Salt
1 5/8 dashes Black pepper, ground
1 1/4 tablespoons Chives, parsley, or tarragon (optional),¬†minced
Combine the vinegar, mustard, and shallots.
Gradually whisk in the oil.
Adjust the seasoning with sugar, salt, and pepper.
Add the¬†fresh herbs if desired.
