Fried Green Peas (Жареный зеленый горох)

His story about his grandparents frying this up is a great read you should take the time to read. You’ll want them too once you do.

  • 500g peas
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • salt to taste
  1. Heat the butter in a seasoned fry pan or non-stick pan.
  2. Add the frozen peas into the frying pan. Carefully stir and cook for about 8 minutes, until the peas start to caramelize, and are starting to brown on the outside.
  3. Remove from heat and add salt to taste. Mix through and serve as a side dish.
